Root & River® Yoga Ltd. is an eco-luxury yoga brand offering thoughtfully designed yoga mats, ritual tools, and related products.

Throughout these Terms, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Root & River® Yoga Ltd. trading as Root & River®. “You” refers to the customer or website user.

We are not VAT registered. All prices shown are inclusive of any applicable taxes.

By using this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or guardian.

You agree not to:

We take care to describe and photograph our products accurately. However:

These variations are part of the character of our products and do not constitute faults.

All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue or update items without notice.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated.

We are not VAT registered. All prices shown are inclusive of any applicable taxes. Shipping costs are shown at checkout and calculated separately.

Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase using the payment methods offered on our site.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and cancel orders affected by incorrect pricing, with a full refund issued if payment has already been taken.

5. Order Acceptance

Once you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This does not guarantee acceptance.

An order is accepted only when we dispatch the item and send a dispatch confirmation email.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders for reasons including, but not limited to:

  • Product availability
  • Errors in pricing or product information
  • Suspected fraudulent activity

6. Shipping & Delivery

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to location, customs processing, or circumstances beyond our control.

Root & River is not responsible for delays caused by courier services or customs authorities.

Risk of loss passes to you once the order has been delivered to the address provided.

For international orders, customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or handling fees charged by their country’s customs authority. These charges are outside our control and are not included in our product or shipping prices.

7. Returns & Refunds

Our Returns Policy forms part of these Terms & Conditions and should be read alongside them.

In summary:

  • You may return unused, unopened items within 14 days of delivery
  • Used yoga mats and practice products cannot be returned for hygiene reasons unless faulty
  • Items must be returned in original condition and packaging
  • For faulty or damaged items, please contact us within 30 days of delivery
  • We will endeavour to offer a replacement in the first instance, or a full refund if preferred

8. Consumer Rights

These Terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

9. Care & Responsibility

Our products are designed to support your yoga and wellbeing practice. They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent injury or illness.

You are responsible for using products safely and appropriately. Root & River accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage resulting from improper use.

Root & River® is a registered trademark.

All content on this website, including text, imagery, product names, poems, rituals, branding, and design, is owned by Root & River.

All other trademarks, logos, and service marks displayed on this site are the property of Root & River or their respective owners.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content or trademarks without our prior written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the product purchased
