I’ve been absolutely loving the Ganges mat from Root & River. It’s the perfect width – ideal for balancing, but still super comfortable when lying down. The grip is incredible too, I’ve had so many mats where my hands slip in downward dog, but that just doesn’t happen with this one.
The design is beautiful and really grounding… the warm, neutral tones and root-line detail create such a calming feel to practice on. It’s also not too heavy to carry, which makes it really practical for classes.
I genuinely love practicing on mine and have had so many compliments on it already!

I’ve been really enjoying practicing on my Root & River yoga mat 🧘🏻♀️
The grip is excellent, which allows me to move with confidence and truly feel the benefits of each asana without slipping or holding back.
It has just the right amount of cushioning—not too thin, not too thick. It feels supportive in kneeling poses, while still being stable enough for standing postures like Warrior II, where overly thick mats can feel a bit unstable or stretchy.
Another thing I love is that there’s no strong chemical smell, which you often notice with some mats. It feels clean, non-toxic, and safe to practice on.
And honestly… it’s just beautiful ✨
Practicing on something that looks and feels this good makes each session even more enjoyable.
